Where do you find palm fronds and nails in Sims Castaway?

I have been searching forever for palm fronds and nails. I need the palm fronds to make a skirt. I was told that you could cut down trees but I can't find any trees that it will allow me to cut down.

You can trade for palm fronds with Dr. Feelgood or wait for them to wash up on the beach. (Instead of the crate washing up it will be a palm frond.)





To trade for the palm fronds with Dr. Feelgood you will need nails. The nails will wash up on the beach in a crate every once in a while.
Reply:maybe it wont let you cut down the tree cause you need a certain tool, or maybe its a certain tree...
