Is there no alternative to palm oil or will the rainforest be gone to make way for more palm trees?

I'm watching Saving Planet Earth on BBC1 (UK) and seeing what is happening to these poor creatures is heartbreaking not to mention seeing the beautiful rainforest being bulldozed to make way for palm tree plantations. Why can't something be done about finding an alternative to palm oil instead of just raising money to fund homes for these homeless wild animals. Why should we allow this to happen? It's a disgrace and something needs to be done.

I don't know the answer but I wish I did!





I'd never heard of palm oil before and am in the process of doing some research on it and how I can avoid purchasing products containing it.

Reply:yeah yes. use micro oven and deep fry without any oil.
