How can I kill these small palm trees growing in my yard?
I have this type of bush that just grows wild and crazy on my property. I would cut them back and they would just sprout more and more branches and get huge again.

I recently had tree guys cut and chop up these annoying bushes down to the stumps. Once they removed the main parts, they chopped up the leftover trunks to shreds. Then they told me how to keep them from growing back using rock salt.

I poured rock salt (the kind you use to make ice cream) in all the ragged crevices of the remaining stumps. This seems to have taken care of the problem. The salt apparently kills the roots.

From research I know this method works on lots of plant life, so it may work on your palm trees. It's cheap enough to try, anyway.
Reply:try gas it usually works...I'd love to take them off your hands or should I say out of your yard
Reply:I want a couple of them!!
Reply:Salt and Vinegar around the base.
Reply:Any type of vegetation killer.
Reply:How about just digging them up instead of using pesticide?
Reply:kilzall will kill them, although if you feel like being creative, dig them up and pot them, use them as decrative pottings around the yard
