I just had to reformat my hard disk. I backed up the complete Handspring(Palm Desktop) folder and all of its contents before the reformat. I currently do not have a PDA, so I used an external drive to back them up. I have now reinstalled the palm desktop software from the website back to my clean hard drive. I only need my address/contacts and my calender on my new software. What and where are the files that I need, and where do I drag them into for them to show up on my new Palm Desktop? Thanks for your help...

If your contacts/calendar are all still on your Handspring PDA, all you need to do is hotsync and it will all be copied to your reformatted drive.

Reply:just back up any files which are supported by PDA, becareful of the files' specific formats.
