I am considering planting a Banana Palm in my front yard but must take care that the roots will not eventually grow into the septic tank. Also, does it need sun or shade South Florida, zone 9?
What is the root span of a full grown Banana Palm tree?
the root span horizontally will be as large as the leaf span...the depth span is usually about 1/3 the height of the tree
