I live in south Louisiana and I just bought this Majesty Palm. On the tag from Wal-mart its states that it should be planted in total shade. I have looked up this palm online and everywheres I went said Full Sun. So which one is it?
Where is the best spot to plant a Majesty Palm?
This palm requres almost total shade when it is young, plant where, as young, it is in total shade, but as it grows, it head will 'poke through' and start getting sun. It slowly grows to a full sun palm, but NOT when it is young. Same with King palms.
